Himno de los peregrinos de Santiago. Se encuentra en el Códice Calixtino que se escribió en el siglo XII, entre 1160 y 1180. Se conserva en Galicia, en la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, y está dedicado a los peregrinos que llegaban recorriendo el Camino de Santiago.
Esta pieza es monódica y el acompañamiento es una reconstrucción posible dentro de las prácticas de la época. La pieza es anónima y está escrita en notación aquitana, que no cuenta con pentagrama o líneas de referencia para indicar las notas exactas ni el ritmo. Por ello las distintas versiones de esta pieza pueden ser muy diferentes.
En esta versión instrumental intervienen la Cítola, el Laúd y la Guiterna, y está basada en las interpretaciones del Ensemble Organum dirigido por Marcel Pérès.

Anthem of the pilgrims of Santiago. It is found in the Calixtino Codex, which was written in the 12th century, between 1160 and 1180. It is preserved in Galicia, in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, and is dedicated to the pilgrims who came along the Camino de Santiago.
This piece is monodic and the accompaniment is a possible reconstruction within the practices of the time. The piece is anonymous and is written in Aquitanian notation, which does not have a staff or lines of reference to indicate the exact notes or rhythm. Therefore, the different versions of this piece can be very different.
In this instrumental version the Citole, the Lute and the Gittern take part, and is based on the interpretations of the Ensemble Organum directed by Marcel Pérès.
