Es una de las piezas polifónicas que se encuentran en el Códice Calixtino. Se escribió en el siglo XII, entre 1160 y 1180. Se conserva en Galicia, en la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, y está dedicado a los peregrinos que llegaban recorriendo el Camino de Santiago.
Esta pieza tiene tres voces aunque la tercera voz fue añadida más tarde por otro compositor. La pieza es anónima pero se atribuye su autoria a “Magister Albertus Parisiensis”, el maestro Alberto de París, que fue cantor en la catedral de Notre Dame de París entre 1140 y 1177 aproximadamente.
En esta versión instrumental intervienen la Cítola, el Laúd y la Guiterna.

It is one of the polyphonic pieces found in the Codex Calixtinus. It was written in the 12th century, between 1160 and 1180. It is preserved in Galicia, in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, and is dedicated to pilgrims who came along the Camino de Santiago.
This piece has three voices although the third voice was added later by another composer. The piece is anonymous but its authorship is attributed to "Magister Albertus Parisiensis", the master Albert of Paris, who was cantor in the cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris between 1140 and 1177 approximately.
In this instrumental version the Cítole, the Lute and the Gittern take part.
